Ex Libris teamed up with epoq to boost e-commerce sales through personalized and automated email campaigns using AI. Ex Libris informs selected customers 90 days in advance about new book releases and offers them the opportunity to pre-order.
Ex Libris originally started with manually created email campaigns and assigned them to suitable recipients. This manual effort led to the problem that only a few email campaigns were sent and the relevance and timing could not be maintained. However, since manual email campaigns already resulted in an increase in sales compared to standard newsletters, epoq was used to personalize and automate the email campaigns using AI.
