Originally, Ex Libris started with manually created e-mailings and assigned these to suitable recipients. This manual effort led to the problem that only a few e-mailings were sent and the relevance and time component could not be maintained. However, since manual e-mailing already generated an increase in sales compared to the standard newsletter, epoq was called in to personalize and automate the e-mailings using AI.
