epoq presents Control Desk Release 6.0

Ettlingen, April 6, 2022 – With the latest Control Desk Release 6.0, which includes various feature improvements and a revamped design, epoq is enhancing the user experience of its monitoring and control tool, thereby simplifying shop-specific customizations in terms of personalization.

Intuitive operation for quick personalization measures

Personalization in e-commerce promises customers an optimal user experience based on the advantages of online shopping combined with the quality of individual customer service offered by brick-and-mortar retailers. At the same time, shop operators are able to sustainably increase their conversion rates and significantly improve customer loyalty in the long term.

When it comes to personalization measures, shop operators focus their attention on user experience, among other aspects. But user experience is not only crucial in the shop itself; it also plays a key role in monitoring and controlling personalization. This is because it allows shop-specific adjustments to be implemented more quickly.

"The better and more intuitive the Control Desk is for shop operators to use, the better the monitoring and control of personalization measures will be. This in turn leads to faster shop-specific adjustments in the online shop. epoq wanted to take this into account with the new Control Desk Release 6.0," explains Thorsten Mühling, Managing Director of epoq internet services GmbH.

Easy navigation and a quicker overview speed up shop-specific adjustments

With Control Desk Release 6.0, epoq has comprehensively revised and redesigned the central control and monitoring of online shop personalization. Adapted to the corporate design, the e-commerce backend now ties in perfectly with other elements such as the epoq website. The even more attractive interface with a revised menu structure is designed to make navigation even easier for users and provide them with a quick overview of all available information and control elements.

All software services are visible, both those already booked and those available beyond that, and further information can be easily accessed via a link. The new "Quickstart" menu item also serves this purpose, providing an overview of the features of individual booked services and demonstrating their use with use cases. A newly introduced glossary clearly lists all key figures and associated definitions. Another new feature in Control Desk Release 6.0 is the ability to independently create and manage A/B tests, which users can use to find the optimal configuration and continuously improve the benefits of epoq software services.

Small change – big impact for users

Other features were specifically developed and optimized during the redesign of the Control Desk, such as the editor product search. Those responsible also paid attention to small changes with a big impact for the user, such as the new option to save entries by pressing the Enter key.
